The $1 transaction is a pre-authorisation (hold) and it is not an actual charge but acts as a confirmation that the payment method is active and valid. The $1 verification pre-authorisation will be automatically released back into your account in 7-10 days. No further action is required.

Removing a gift card
Once you have used up all the remaining balance of an eGift Card and wish to remove the Card from your Wallet, follow the below steps. Please note: once an eGift card has been archived, it cannot be unarchived. Please contact us if you have an issue with an archive card at [email protected].
